Teresa C. Younger is the President and CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women. As a tireless advocate and well-respected feminist leader, she has been on the frontlines of some of the most important battles for women’s health, safety, and economic justice. Immediately after joining the Foundation, Younger launched a campaign to hold the NFL accountable for violence against women perpetrated by football players. She was the first to publicly call on the league to take a comprehensive approach to preventing violence by examining its advertising, diversity, and employment policies. She is currently on a national listening tour, reaching out to supporters, grantees, organizational allies, and other grassroots women’s rights activists across the country to hear about their work, ideas, and the issues women face.
